The Texas 4-H Photography Contest encourages self-expression and allows youth to demonstrate skills learned in the area of photography, including the use of photographic equipment and process of photographs. The District contest is NOT a qualifying event for state contest.
This year District 5 is hosting 4 different contests : Fall Foliage, General Photography, Spring Flowers, and new this year, Entomology for our 4-H youth, Clover Kids, and Adults.
Photographs that meet the category criteria can be entered in more than one contest. Example: a photo of a rose could be entered into the Spring Flowers contest and General Photography contest under Plant/Flora category.
