Entomology is the study of insects and all six-legged creatures. Getting to know insects can be a fun way to get outside and see what is there. There are insects everywhere on earth, even in the coldest arctic!
Entry Requirements
- Open to enrolled District 5 4-H members.
- Register to participate through 4HOnline at https://v2.4honline.com
- 4-H member Contest Fee – $15 per contestant. NO LATE ENTRIES accepted.
- Enter as an individual
District Deadlines
- Step 1: Register to participate on 4HOnline between February 1 and March 20, 2026. NO late registration.
- Step 2: Entomology Collections are to be dropped off with Carolyn Walton to be judged at the District 5 office, located at 1710 FM3053, Overton, TX on or before April 1, 2026.
- Step 3: Collections will be ready to be picked up on May 2 between 3 and 4 pm at Come Alive in D5. Collections not picked up will be sent to local Extension offices.
